Kimberly's on beautiful Block Island, Rhode Island was established in June of 2014 in the former home of Harry's Restaurant. While the restaurant is relatively new the people behind it have been mainstays in the industry, on Block Island and New England, for decades. The "Kimberly" in Kimberly's is Kimberly Ward. You may know Kimberly from her years as Manager of Dead Eye Dicks or as Manager/Owner of the Beachead Restaurant. Kimberly is well known for always being in the front of the house making sure things run smoothly and greeting people with enthusiasm and warmth. Kimberly's husband, Norman Ward has been along for the ride as well, all these years, but he is behind the scenes. Norman, together with Terry Smith and Patty Crowley make up the "Back of the House" Managers, and while you may not see them in person too often, they are always there, in the kitchen, sending out creative, delicious, fresh, acclaimed dishes.
Most of Kimberly's staff has been with her for years, and are local Island year-round residents. From waiters to dishwashers, cooks, hosts and bussers....some go back more than 30 years with Norman and Kimberly!
Kimberly's serves a wide variety of dishes. We always strive for the freshest, most local ingredients. We have a wide variety of seafood dishes, fresh salads, steaks, and pasta dishes. There truly is something for everyone on the menu. In addition, Kimberly's has a large 'wines by the glass' list, beer selection and full bar. We have indoor, outdoor, lounge and bar seating.
Kimberly's can host cocktail parties and celebrations on site and Kimberly is also the Kimberly in Kimberly's Catering, the most sought after off-site caterer on Block Island (it's true, ask any local!).
